In the North Shore of Kauai Island you may also visit Kilauea
Lighthouse. Above the Pacific Ocean on 180 feet situated Kilauea Lighthouse. It
was built in the 1913. The pearl of this lighthouse is Fresnel lens, you may
observe this remarkable lens during an excursion.
It is good opportunity to
watch splendid nature views from the grassy cliff of the lighthouse. If you are
lucky, you might even spot whales from this point. To see them just look for the majestic plumes of water
("blows") rising in the air and the playful splashes made by these
gigantic creatures.

no earlier than one hour in advance.
No infants allowed.
Backpacks, tripods, or other large items are not
allowed inside the lighthouse.
In Kilauea
Point National Wildlife Refuge you may see a lot differen birds in their
natural habitat. You can see here a lot of seabird populations, endangered Hawaiian
goose. Visiting Kilauea Point National Wildlife Refuge you can choose from bird
watching, native plants thriving in their natural habitats, explore geology,
and take part in different educational programs.
